Central Wi | Diagnosed in 99 here. Tried several things including remicade and steroids. Lost my colon in 05 a day before my 30th birthday. Been on Remicade ever since. Have had 3 peristomal surgeries on my right side. In Feb of 20 they moved my illiostomy to my left side in an emergency surgery a week after hernia repair. Hernia is worse now than before the last emergency surgery. Fun times. I try to shy away from popcorn and nuts. Other than that I haven't had alot of flares lately. Like others said stress is a big one. Luckily in farming there isn't much stress ****. I drink and eat pretty much what I want without issues but I'm sure someday that will catch up with me. It's not a fun disease. Find a good Dr. Good luck. | |
