NW Missouri | I'm about to turn 40 and have already had 3 of them. But my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer at 42, so I tend to take the dr's recommendations seriously. I'll probably have them every 5 years for as long as I live unless they come up with something less invasive for those of us that are high risk.
Mom beat the odds and has been cancer free for almost 20 years now. As a side note, you'll never convince me that her positive attitude throughout the process didn't have something to do with her recovery. She was matter-of-factly going to beat it, and she did. | |
