NW Washington | Hoss C has it right. Steam the eggs and then put them into cold water.
I have tried various methods of making hard-boiled eggs that peel easily including adding either vinegar or baking soda to the water and steaming is best. Put the eggs into the steamer after the water starts to boil and then let them steam for about 15 minutes.
