2. Corn and bean prices will continue to show lots of volatility because there is still huge amounts of fund money that will come and go - maybe in response to fundimentals maybe not.
3. Hog production will continue to decline as the cattle market has done, possibly stabilizing prices for a while.
4. Ag will be under attack as long as we have liberals in charge (ie. knotheads critizing something they don't know about) - could be blunted with next year's elections though
5. It's unlikely we'll experience any extremes of inflation or deflation - there will be resistance to either extreme. Depending on election results banking could get lots more rules and entities allowed to fail rather than waste more money - aig going under wouldn't be good, but if it were broken up the effects may not be as bad as everyone (er.. bankers) say it will.
