As I read the sampling of thread responses/comments....it's all over the board......too many variables & freedom of choices..... locale, land rental demand, soil type/yield capability, cropping/livestock opportunities, and local markets, shipping, etc., etc., etc....
This is like asking giving all the fellas each a pair of size 34 briefs and asking "how do they fit?" or giving the ladies a pair of size 7 pump shoes (red in color) and asking them the same question.....
I can only suggest that you quietly visit with local sources in your area (agri business folks, extension, landlords/farmers, lenders,_) for info. on this....
