Subject: RE: Shingles and chicken pox

Western Oregon
I had shingles 12 years ago. Bad on front of chest and torso. No idea what it was. Many sores, 1 big sore on sternum, ate through skin, into flesh. Went to doctor, got some meds. Terrible pain. DR recommended shot, took 6 mos after gone. 2 weeks later had shingles again. Got meds early, not bad. Dr recommended 2nd shot, 2 weeks later had again. Got better meds, little pain but more "rash". Concerned to take new shot.

I had polio at 7, 2 bad relapses and a few mild ones. First was worst, flat on back for nearly a year. I was 37. I took Hep B series at work 3 times, never took. Never taken a flu shot. Wife and I did take one J&J covid shot 1 1/2 years in, we were lied to. I am allergic to all 'cillin meds. Hard to knock back a tooth infection. My immune system has always been all jacked up. Drs always say red head nerve system. 1/4 dose knocks me out, every time. Even 2 aspirin makes me so groggy. I have had some bad inflammation problems, once in shoulder, thought I was having a BAD heart attack....James
