Subject: Thanks everyone!

The arguement was with my wife (bad idea, i know haha)
I like a cheeseburger with nothing else on it, just bun patty cheese.
Doesnt mattet whether its a chain or a mom and pop place, 80% of the time they'd give me a burger with a bunch of stuff on it.
Wife kinda snapped one day and and says "well you are confusing, plain means different things". Which seemed absurd to me, but its good to know others here share her thoughts.
Lately I've started ordering 'cheeseburger plain, nothing on it, just meat and cheese', and i still get handed the works half the time.
So since i dont go out that much, unless im at Harvey's i get something else. Its just kinda annoying because all I want is the cook to do less work. Also annoying bc if i complain somehow im the bad guy. Last time i stopped at a little diner, spelled out exactly what i wanted, watch the waitress write it down, brought me a burger loaded with relish onions and mustard. I said "I'm really sorry but thats not what i asked for", and she just shrugged, said "ya i told the cook he didnt listen" and then just walked away.
