However, that becomes a bit of a mess for the order taker. If they get it wrong you are mad and they are throwing away food. So it would be best for you to specify what you actually mean. There are weirdos out there ordering a plain cheeseburger, that don’t want the cheese on it either. And pickles are considered a normal topping on a cheeseburger, so ‘plain might include them also in some people’s view.
My wife ordered a ‘hamburger, just ketchup’ and one time got a bun with ketchup in between the bun halves. No patty. Technically, they were right.........
So, it can be a head scratcher on the details of what was meant.
