South cental Ohio | Yesterday the lump finally started draining and I know the dog is in a lot of discomfort ( even though I have been giving him some meds), but I think he is getting better. Thanks to those who understood my dilemma and hopefully those who didn't will someday. I do have-use a vet that is retiring ( like my last one did) but to get him to drop everything and come to the farm is almost impossible. Traveling vets are about a thing of the past around here ( hardly any livestock raisers anymore ) . It's too easy to stay in an office and get $50 plus a visit and do 10 visits an hour than it is to take an hour and come to do one farm visit for a $75 fee. Can't say that I blame them but that's how the biggest part of the world operates today. | |
