SW OH | For all of you millennials who replied to me telling me how you can do all of these things, good for you. You are the exception to the rule however. The shop at work has about 15 mechanic's that are less than 40. I think only 2 of them can drive a standard. I or one of the older mechanics frequently have to move a truck into the shop for them so they can work on it.
I raised my wife's 2 kids from 3 and 8 which are now 22 and 27. They can't drive a standard or write a check. I tried to teach them with much resistance, and they were supported by their mother.
The "broad brush" I use is just a reflection of the people I know first hand. I've never met any of you, so don't assume you know who I know.
