usually indicates lime in the water..... you can buy stuff to go in the dishwasher to clean that off... if you know you do not have lime in the water there is alsi stuff you can buy that you run throgh the dishwasher to clean it... I have done that when I have dishes start coming out cloudy and it works pretty good.
