Mid Michigan | David, what variety of tree did you plant that will be ready to cut in 6-8 years? I just planted 100 of these white spruce jumbo plugs this year and am hoping to get some nice ones in that many years. I planted them in tree tubes so that will be a big experiement for me. The tubes will either incubate them or kill them off. I was thinking it would make it easier for me to find them and keep track of them for spraying and maybe watering them if I have to. I plan on doing several hundred if not thousands more of them in the next few years.
