Hooker Twp,Ne | Your suppose to use the 24d choline. Choline has next to zero volatility. Amine has more volatility and ester has considerably more. Therefore the choline is the only24d product registered for use on enlist beans. With that all said and as a farmer growing up with ramrod, ramrod atrazine and 24d. Which were our go to products years back. To my memory,The amine 24d did very little on pigweeds back then. Had to pull the TA back on the 504 or do some clutching with the 3010 to get enough on to get some kill mode. Now with the ester products we could get a fairly decent kill. I assume that was somewhat because of the volatility or drifting mode around the plant while spraying. No you are not suppose to use regular 24d ester on enlist beans as it is not registered. Now will they put you in a pink jumpsuit if you get caught. I don’t know. Let us know how you turn out if you get caught. | |
