You ask a question which begs the issue of security. We live in a world of relativity.
I prefer to think where will value be preserved or increased. If you have food and energy and a sound currency you have security. Those things in todays world are found in Brazil. Untapped hydroelectric, sugar cane based ethanol and new oil discoveries.
Not nearly as sexy as gold, but the women can probably make up for that.
