New London, Wisconsin | I drove a haul truck today with your size tire. I doubt those will fit our tires. I also called my dealer about the new tires for our towns loader. 4 months ago I heard it was about $10,000 for a set of 4 installed. 2 months ago I got a quote of $12,000. Today I checked again and it went to $18,600 for the same 4 tires. That's problem, for that money we will run them bald.
I did ask if availability was an issue. Nope, they have lots in stock and could have them mounted in a few days. Then why the huge price increase? No answer.
I'm going price shopping tomorrow for loader tires, and we might just try and get these really good casing's (except one ) recapped. Or maybe we just wait this market out and run them.
