Greene County, Illinois | I raise some crooked neck squash every year just to make pies out of. Most of my family prefers the squash pie, I think my wife uses basically the same recipe as pumpkin and substitutes squash. Son in law is about the only one that prefers pumpkin pie, but he drinks the same beer as me and gave me a really cute granddaughter, so I let him hang around. Really, couldn't ask for a finer son in law. | |
