It works good for what it is. Not something we use all the time, but good for certain things. This one doesn't control anything, just a guide for the operator to follow. Also has a light bar that you can put in the cab, but the one up on the blade is usually where you need to be looking anyway, so I seldom even use the cab mounted one.
We have one dozer set up with GPS and are currently setting up a D6T we recently bought with GPS as well. Still waiting on some of the components. If the engineers provide a program, the GPS will put stuff dead on. But the laser system is a good, simple guide to get things close before shooting it with the stick.
