I dont really understand how all this will transpire. If crap does hit the fan and the dollar is worth no more than toilet paper how are we going to deal in gold. Years ago I guess they had nuggets and they weighed it and you could kind of deal with it. You wont be selling it or cashing it in because you wont want dollars because they are worthless. How will this all work. I just remember how they said land was lost even though it was paid for because people could not pay the taxes on it. That I could see happening real fast because property taxes are going up. I think the government would like for this to happen again really. I guess what I am haveing a problem with is how you protect yourself if this does happen. I dont see how holding gold is going to be the answer either. I think a gun will be worth more than gold and things will kind of go back to the old west days.
