West Central Ohio | The remote controller is standard...no built in screen, works with ipad mini.
The smart controller has a built in display, ipad mini not used.
Also, smart controller is being discontinued. It is being replaced by the RC. ( I know dji naming suxs) But the RC does not currently work with the Air2s although it is supposed to be supported in the near future.
I would prolly buy the Air2s with the standard controller (cheaper) and use the ipad mini. If the down the road you want a integrated display you could by the RC. That way you dont get stuck with discontinued smart controller. | |
