| Supposedly that is less accurate and must be done while performing other field operations or in a dedicated trip across the field. Triangulating from multiple points not affected by the natural ground surface is said to be able to give accurate elevation at any point in real time. That is the way it has been described to me, at any rate. I have not been able to find at this point any company who is monetizing this technology. Actually ;more honestly, I have not followed up until recently and expected much on it.
I do know that some folks who have used John Deere's Surface Pro have been less than satisfied because of soft and hardware issues. Also, lack of experienced people. | |
