Kingston,Mi | Hopefully all the business that ordered items only ordered once then referenced the original order when making inquires. The International dealer in Mayville Michigan needed tractors to sell in 1939 so he ordered a few F12, F14 and F20's. They didn' turn up so he inquired and stated he needed them as he had buyers waiting. Several more inquires as to when they would arrive followed. Early in Sept of 1939 the stationmaster called the dealership and told him he had 4 flatbed rail cars filled with new F model IHC tractors. The mail was also dropped at the station which had The Farm Journal and Successful Farming for rural delivery, with the adds for the NEW! A, H, and M. It would be darned hard to sell a F model IHC against a H or M. | |
