Very tasty meal and good on a cold day.

Leave out the dried beef in the one below.

 Another twist on the recipe is to hard boil some eggs. Prepare a white flour paste gravy.Toast some bread, spread gravy over the top of the bread, and then cut thin slices of hard boiled egg over the top of the gravy, (a hard boiled egg cutter makes perfect thin slices) add salt and pepper. This used to be one of my Dad's favorite meals. Ironically it was the last meal we had together before he passed away.
