Ripon, WI | One of the things hurting SRW is carryout. I did not pick up the USDA number from that last report, but every elevator I know that is handling SRW is full to the rafters and hedged into this huge carry market. My location is carrying 2 years inventory and I think we will only load out enough to make room for this coming harvest. With SRW being such a small portion of wheat in general, it kind of disappears in open interest reports. | |
