Utah | Just wanted to get back to you all with an update on this bus. My work season kicked off with a vengeance this year and it's taken me some time to get to it but we've finally made some progress.I replaced all of the fuel line with hydraulic hose and eliminated some fittings that passed through the frame rail. After replacing all of the lines I still had air! Dropping the tank is a no go at this point because someone has created a secondary bracket for the tank and welded it to the frame. So I pulled the pickup and return lines from the top and lo and behold there was no pickup line going down into the tank. I replaced that line and wala!!! Not an air bubble in site!
What baffles me is that somehow this thing was creating enough pressure to pull fuel from the tank at all without a line going into the fuel. Like sucking the water out of a cup by creating a seal around the top instead of using a straw lol
Anyway, I appreciate all of the help I got here. Thank you thank you | |
