Central Missouri
John Williams noted 3 things to do 1. precious metals in small denominations. 1oz gold coins and 90% silver quarters or 10 oz bars. 2. diversify dollars into other currencies 3. get 3-6 months of supplies on hand.

Man that all seems kooky. He said it could happen tomorrow or 5 years from now.

I will say that the USS ship of state sure seems to be sailing in that direction.

Here is a link to a book on business survival under those conditions http://www.survivalblog.com/2009/05/an_update_to_the_classic_the_h....

A couple of things I'm considering 1. carry 3 years of glyphosate on hand 2. Fill fuel barrels when macd turns north and keep them full.
Lock in all long term interest rates on debt or as coup does have cap on how high they can go either is a good strategy just depends on which you feel comfortable with.

There are banks in the U.S. that let you keep your savings in foreign currency. I'm gonna look into those.
My parents get an investment letter that outlines some suggestions, I will post some of those when I get time.

This is my thought but in the initial stages of hyper-inflation grains should go up because oil will be goin up so grain in storage initially will be good but in the later stages if it would get bad grain could be a nitemare if demand is affected. If you don't have storage grain baggers are cheap and provide unlimited storage. Main risk I see with them is vandalism. Make sure this winter your machinery is 100% repaired with all parts that wear replaced or have the parts in storage to do a complete re-build. I'm talking drills and planters. Have a complete set of combine belts and bearings if ur gonna keep ur machine a while. Make sure your shop, fuel storage and chem storage are as burglary proof as possible. People will get what they need one way or another.

Now, are we goin there? I don't know but if we do it ussually happens very quick and human nature is to sit, watch, and hope it isn't so when it starts.

Here is a book on what happened in Argentina http://www.amazon.com/Modern-Survival-Manual-Surviving-Economic/dp/...
