Used to, but not in that area.

Newfoundland is known as 'the rock' Because thats basically all it is. The long range mountains are one of the oldest, and used to be highest mountain ranges on earth. Now they are eroded down to about 3000 ft. And yes, its a rugged place to live, but the nicest people around. We go over snowmobiling in the winters, And I may sail over again this summer. I'm on the sled in the one photo, on a large cornice.
