| I think they own a lot more than 10’s Of thousands. Prbly over 100,000 or something insane, the guy owns a large bank. Not a small bank. And my dads a landlord and he said best thing that ever happened to him was mr Lawrence showing up in mississipppi after him and buying land. But ya know I’m reminded of a saying where you can sheer a sheep as many times as you’d like but you can only skin them once. He had a tendency here to be a pretty ruthless landlord.
Mississippi has never been very welcoming of outsiders tho, something my family can attest to, so maybe they had it coming
