| This is investment group is starting to goose alot of land onto the market in these areas. They will buy Large high quality tracts at all costs. Keeping land sales strong in a 4 county area because well heeled farm operations are left buying the table scraps. Looking like we are witnessing a consolidation push like never before in this local ag economy.
Also- some of the most aggressive buyers in this same area since the mid 2000s (ag funds 20k plus owners hog integrators etc).. are now unwinding some of their holdings....looks to be their lower quality stuff so probably good business sense
