Mascoutah, Illinois | Ehoff, my gut says sell this week. However, my bullish thoughts are all of the corn crop may not get harvested due to the big snows of last week and increasing ethanol demand. $4.25 is the line in the sand for the March contract and a breakout takes us much higher. The reason I believe I should be a seller this week is because the lines at the Mississippi River in St. Louis are the longest I have seen in the past three years. Everyone and their brother must have contracted December corn which was the absolute right thing to do earlier in the year. I feel like I am way overthinking this and the safe play is always to let some go and hope you are wrong with prices headed higher. I don't want to be in the camp of not selling and we go lower.
