SW WI | I agree, access to capitol and slaughter space is a potential problem. But if Smithfield looks at what is making them money...slaughter and retail, NOT owning and feeding hogs. Talk about outsourcing jobs to someone who can do it cheaper. Well, its right here. Then you open up a new can of worms about captive slaughter space where, yes they can offer 8 cents and make good money themselves without owning any hogs. | |
