Red River Valley | Goverment intervention did not get us into this He!! hole it was the free marketers that created credit default swaps and off sheet derivatives that they did not understand nor could the explain to the person they were selling these CDS and derivatives to. add to that the fact that the free Marketers decided to leverage up this pile of crap too a 60-1 position and that me boy is how we got to this mess.
You can blame the goverment if it makes you feel good but when the whole house of cards started to unravel that is when the Free Marketers came running to the goverment to save them from themselves.
Yes it is going to take some time to get out of this mess but that is what happens when you are forced to take almost 1 trillion dollars from the taxpayers and save the richest of the rich in this country .
It is now time to tax the rich and start paying for their mistakes.
We have started to deleverge the citizens of the world by leverageing up the goverment's at some point we will need to deleverage the goverments of the world that will be a longer process than most belive because it will take money both from the goverment spending and extra taxing of it's people.
Boy that whole trickle down economics sure work nice, at least until the credit ran out !!!!! | |
