The report, compiled by the chief actuary at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, estimated that total health costs in the U.S. would be $234 billion higher than if the bill weren't passed. President Barack Obama has said Democrats' health plan would reduce the growth of health-care costs.  Well maybe future reports will do a better job of hiding the numbers...

Also European Cap and Trade style Carbon Credits will be allowed to be sold as a Steel Mill is closed in England.. (and supposedly the jobs moved overseas..)  However, emissions will be lower...(actually just moved..)  as will jobs, tax revenue and growth.

Nothing of this complex story is likely to be heard in the dreary concrete shed outside Copenhagen where, as temperatures drop towards freezing, 17,000 prime ministers, officials and climate activists are earnestly discussing how the planet is warming up towards extinction. But it certainly sheds a little light on a colossal worldwide racket these delegates are helping to promote, because the end of the story is that we shall all be paying to export thousands of British jobs to new steel plants in India, for no gain in the reduction of worldwide CO2 emissions.
