no source, no rumor, no knowledge--just guessing

Sure seems that the traditional business model, buy corn and sell hogs each week, has been REALLLLLLLLLY EXPENSIVE!!! I learned as I worked for Cargill, big and old companies are really slow to change, specifically ag companies--Deere was similar, but not as lethargic. My GUESS, Smithfield's financial future doesn't look rosey and all....

Seems they had to pay quite a bit for debt(~10%) the last time they issued bonds. Probably not a good sign. Any thoughts?? Hopefully someone will give me a detailed reasons why I am wrong, because I don't wish bad on anyone/company.
