Northwest Iowa | I remember my Dad telling this story. When my uncle was very small he was very sick. My Grandparents lived out in the country and had the DR out for him. Doc said not much he could do but saaid he would stop out in the morning. My Grandmother got busy and fried a tub of onions and completely covered my uncle in them except his face. In the morning my Uncle was much better and the Doc couldn't believe it as he thought he would be dead. This is a true story and happened in the 1920's. | |
