cropsey, il 61731 | To bad a lot of hedging was done at almost/squeekby levels. I'm pretty sure our integrator is looking to lock in hogs for next year at pretty decent levels. I'm not sure it's a mortgage (or BK lifter) yet, but it's far more promising. We've been busy trying to get the crops out 2 hours at a time (elevator hours last few weeks) and trying to dry corn, so I haven't paid much attention to the market movers. Did the sow culling finally start have an effect? Chinese demand? Or the usual no reason, just large funds buying stuff?
Thanks,
Pat
PS: SC it's warmer in the hog barns than out with the lambs and if the Chinese own us I think you and your types are headed for the barns (you make pig fat now for new peoples republic of america). When you think of it, it's the better way socialism to dictatorship (even though it will be called communism) is how the smart people think we should live. They couldn't be wrong about that could they? | |
