I ran one across thousands of acres through the years. The machine is sensitive. Never felt a true reading on disced soil, at least with the one I ran. Should be undisturbed IMO with moisture. It should show “zones” throughout the field if you get pure data. I would request to look at the data if you have someone do it for you. Can use it for zone sampling, planting populations, etc.
