Subject: data collection and veris machines

East Central, Nebraska
i have always wanted to try one of these machines and take a look at data created. i have never really known of anyone in my area having one. just curious of what opinions of these machines are for gathering data. ph would be the most important to me. i have been grid sampling and it gets pretty expensive to sample in small grids for ph but i can see the value in it. if i were to have a veris machine i feel as if i could get some real accurate ph information to work with and then apply lime to appease that map.

would be interested to hear others experience with these machines, it seems like there are now lots of services that are providing lots of data without touching the ground. not sure what direction to go for collecting more data and just overall doing a better job. several times more lime spread in my area of the world this winter based on little to no data. maybe i am overthinking it. thanks.

edit: i wanted to add, i did a search on 'veris' and came up with nothing. surely their is years and years of posts on this topic? it seems like everything i search comes up with only posts from the last few months or so.
