| If the meat has been frozen solid all this time the meat will be safe to eat and will not hurt you. Whether it tastes good or is outrightly rancid might be another issue. I believe pork does not keep as long as beef in a freezer. I am currently finishing the last of beef that was processed in May 2008. It seems fine.
I'd say try it and see. If it doesn't taste right, Merry Christmas to the dogs. | |
