SC Iowa | If you have high quality/low VOMI corn, you will be OK over the long run of this marketing year.
From the info given, it appears that users are buying as much good quality corn outside of their area as they can easily source right now....over time those supplies will decrease and/or price will rise.....and then those of you with high quality corn will be in a better position..
the key piece of information for you to have will be the cost differential between your corn and the secondary supply......
Volume will be key as well, so you may want to work with a group of folks like you to offer a larger package into the market.....every 87,500 bushels you offer is the equivalent of a 25 car train..
good luck
