I appreciate your posts. I disagree with your conclusion on the $ though. Never before in history, has a government decided to keep spending with such massive budget deficits! They are off the charts! Therefore it is plain to see what is happening, and that is why we get a 97% bearish consensus. As you and others have said. This isn't going to end well. A depression either way(inflation or deflation). I just can't see government puuling back on spending and raising rates. Sure we can have some corrections to the upside in the dollar, but longterm the $ is toast in my opinion. And I just can't see a repeat of dollar strength like a year ago.
Just reading some monetary history of the Roman empire and we are going down the same path which is debasement.
