| Bought this 1803 to use for fall/spring burn downs, spraying wheat stubble, and streaming nitrogen on corn and wheat acres. Have a John Deere 4730 that I’m hoping to save hours on. Also, the 1800 gallon tank is a lot nicer when streaming on nitrogen. I wanted to re plumb the boom with electric boom valves, 20” spacing, and try and keep the added weight of brackets to a minimum. Not sure it was the best solution, but decided to make a new wet boom that cam locks onto the existing boom brackets. Went with high flow nozzle bodies as well. So far I have used it for 10 gpa burn downs and up to 45 gpa streaming nitrogen. Can run 16-20 mph no problem.Only problem I have is I can not get the induction cone to work….instead of sucking stuff down, it blows liquid out through the cone. I believe I have everything plumbed correctly according to the book. Any help on this would be appreciated!!
