I continually read comments about staying out of debt.  Although I understand the theory behind this to universally say all debt is bad is bad advice. 

There is good debt and bad debt.   I would hazard to say most on this forum who have achieved significant wealth have utilized credit to do it.  Credit cards and other debt instruments used to buy junk has given credit a bad name. 

I respect Dave Ramsey's opinion and those of his disciples but the broad statement that all debt is bad is just not correct.  Debt used wisely is a way to achieve financial security for those who were not born into wealth.  

Opportunities to make money do not always come when you have the cash available.
