lizton IN | From the wild markets of the last 2 years what i see is the price of soybeans seems to triad in the $8-$10 dollar range. Corn looks to be $3-$4. If that seams to be reasonable then $10 beans ans 4$ corn is a great place to start pricing. My dad said you don't go broke selling out of the end of the combine and you don't drive a new tractor ether. Not sure if the first part is still true. Bottom line don't get your fixed cost up that you need the high priced grain. It will come down sometime, Or inputs will go higher again. If you make money you keep on farming. | |
