I do NOT know if you have a banker you're using for operating notes for your farm or not.....NONE of my business...!! but if you do, I see nothing wrong with talking with them about your costs of production and your forward marketing plan.. AFter all, you're making a strategic plan to cover costs and profit..... Bounce it off them. Use them as a "partner" or, at least, keep them in the loop. At least you'll have them on the same page and they may offer some suggestions, too.
