| What a load of bull! The US will never default on its treasuries, the dollar might become almost worthless but the Fed has an endless supply of them. I also doubt there will be any viloent uprising unless conditions get far worse. People are not going to take up arms aginst the government unless they have nothing at all left to lose. The Chinese didn't force this debt on us and their holdings are a small part of the total. Think about all the houses, vacations, cars, boats, RVs, etc Americans bought with their credit, these didn't totally come from China. All the debt the government is running came from wild spending mostly to buy votes and bail out friends, not China. He sounds like some of the fools who ran their credit cards through the roof and now don't want to pay. The only part that really makes sense is China's pack with the Devil and they have no way out. | |
