Mascoutah, Illinois | Dollar weakness, commodities higher. Gold is still the best play until further notice with copper right behind it.
We are nearing the top of the trading range again. December corn is trading in a range from $3.60-$4.10 and closed today at $4.03.
January soybeans are trading in a range as well. Beans closed at $10.10 with overhead resistance at $10.20.
If you are trading the market, I would be a net seller at the open tomorrow.
For those following the stock market, we had another big up day on Monday. On the floor of the NYSE, they are calling it "mutual fund Mondays." People are sending money back into mutual funds and the fund managers are putting it to work on Mondays. I believe the last five or six Mondays have netted positive gains in the Dow of 100 points or more.
The stock market does not make sense to me at all, but you cannot get in the way of momentum or you will look like a pancake. | |
