| I think a similar chart with all other imported goods (mainly from China) would look interesting too.
One of the things We would do in engineering classes was to draw a circle around a system and study what crossed the circle. I like to think of the US as a system and look at all of the "stuff" coming in and all of the money going out. Our system has been on life support from Home equity loans and credit cards for probably the last 10 years or more, and the high energy prices brought it to the breaking point. | |
