If you have the money to fund a roth I think that is a good idea. That money placed in a roth can be withdrawn early to buy a house(I think), but the gains will have to remain in the account until retirement. Also you are young and income/tax rate are low(compared to the future hopefully) so it is a good time to fund a roth if you have the money to put in it. Diversity is good, but I also agree with another one of the posts that reinvested in the farm. I think that is good because that is something you have alot of contol over and crop insurance can provide a safety net for what you cannot control.
