Subject: More downward revisions expected on corn

USDA cut Illinois production by around 2% in this report. The early frost caused much more damage than this. Corn that should be weighing 58-60 pounds is running around 50-52 pounds. This will amount to somewhere between a 6-10% yield reduction by the time everything is said and done. I expect to see a decent rally in corn during the next 4 months. It takes pounds to make bushels. From what I'm hearing, most of the state is dealing with test weight reductions.
