Ohio | Just passed one here myself 2 weeks ago. Had been through it once before I so had some idea what to expect. No Dr. visit for me this time.
Dont laugh but this time as I was laying on the couch in pain I eventually ended up with my feet on the top of the back of the couch and my head on the floor. This somehow relieved the pain a bit. I stayed this way about 10 minutes and it helped the pain.
When the pain came back, I ended up jumping up and down a few times and about 15 minutes after I did the pain began to go away, eventually disappearing altogether. Passed the stone 1.5 days later.
Ive always been told to drink as much clear liquid as possible to flush the stone out.
